RFP - Financial and Business Readiness Curriculum
Colombo, Sri Lanka
About Hatch
Hatch isn’t just a co-working space. We’re the heartbeat of Sri Lanka’s innovation ecosystem — a platform where startups launch, communities grow, and bold ideas find the infrastructure to become real businesses. From our accelerator and incubator programs to Maker Studio and a packed calendar of events, there is always something happening at Hatch. We need someone to capture it.
Your Mission
As a Content Creator and Video Editor at Hatch, you will be responsible for capturing the energy of our space, events, and community — and translating it into compelling short-form content for social media. This is not a studio production role. It is a fast-moving, always-on content role built around real moments, real people, and authentic storytelling.
You will be the person in the room with a phone or camera, knowing exactly what to capture and how to turn it into content that performs. From reels to event recaps to day-in-the-life clips, your output will represent Hatch across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and beyond.
About the programme
Hatch, IFC and a partner financial institution are designing and piloting a capacity-building programme for women-led SMEs (WSMEs) in Sri Lanka. It aims to strengthen their skills and credit readiness so they can access formal financing and grow.
The assignment
We're looking for a consultant or firm to develop one delivery-ready curriculum covering both phases of the programme, over 2 months:
Phase 1 covers financial foundations, pricing and profitability, bookkeeping, financial statements, compliance, soft skills, credit and loan readiness, and business planning.
Phase 2 covers investment readiness, financial projections, documentation assembly, people management and operations, a due-diligence simulation, and data room preparation.
The package should include facilitator guides, participant workbooks, exercises, templates and assessment tools. All content should reflect the realities of Sri Lankan WSMEs.
Who we're looking for
An advanced degree in business, finance, economics, entrepreneurship, education or a related field
7+ years in curriculum development, SME development or financial capability
Experience building end-to-end curricula for SMEs or entrepreneurs
Strong knowledge of SME finance and access to finance
Strong English; Sinhala and/or Tamil is an advantage
